Andrew Schry graduated from Riverside Area High School in 1987 before earning his BA in marketing from Gannon University in 1991. During college, Andrew “Andy” Schry distinguished himself academically and socially, making the Dean’s List and serving as vice president of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. He also received a marketing award for strategic planning and achievement.
In 1991, Andrew Schry joined Culligan Water of Ellwood City, a family-owned business founded in 1954. He went on to became its president. The business supplies clean drinking water to homes and businesses in Ellwood City, Bessemer, New Castle, New Wilmington, and Volant. It also sells water softening, filtration, and dispensing solutions that fit every budget. Many of the products are backed by lifetime warranties.
As the sole owner and manager, Andrew Schry oversees all major aspects of operations, including sales, marketing, HR, accounting, and inventory control. Under his leadership, the company employs 10 full-time staff and earned a 35-year award from Culligan International in 2022.
Active in his community, Andy Schry has served on several local boards including those of Ellwood City Community Enrichment and the Lawrence County Cycling Club. His interests include camping, backpacking, and cycling.
